New Year’s Resolutions

Okay, so I’ve never been much for New Year’s resolutions. Main reason….I can’t keep them. Main reason I can’t keep them…I make super unrealistic resolutions. Anyway, this year is different. I have three New Year’s resolutions. 1. Master a pie crust. You know what I’m talking about. That super flaky, tender, golden brown, hand-made-with-love cradle for custards, fruit, eggs, vegetables, you name it. I want to perfect the pie crust. 2. Make perfect scones. I love scones. Period. So I’m going to learn to make them. 3. Read through the Bible in a year. Sad to say, I’ve never done it. Lucky for me, while visiting Judd and Amanda in Texas over the holidays, their church had this wonderful little resource table filled with brochures of Bible-in-a-year reading plans. I grabbed one. I stuck it in my Bible. Hopefully I won’t lose it. No promises. 2013. Yea. It’s on.
